Commissioned by the Rotary Club of Pune, this project aimed to transform a local, underprivileged government school, the Shantabai Hiraman Khule Primary School, through murals painted on the school's walls.
I was responsible for designing, illustrating and painting the main hallway and three classrooms, translating concepts and stories from student textbooks into the murals. All of the artworks were hand-painted by me on the walls.
My goal was to create an environment that sparks the imagination and curiosity of the students.
These murals below were made for the interiors of the classrooms.
Most of these pieces were inspired by the stories and textbook content specific to each grade level.
